For the first time in quite a while I’m actually feeling refreshed. My holiday was awesome (there’ll be a whole post, maybe even two about it soon!) but taking four days off work after the holiday was the best decision ever. Thursday was a day of sleeping – a slightly odd taxi journey home meant that I didn’t get into bed until 3am! Friday was a day of washing holiday clothes and tidying up. It was also the day that, much to the disappointment of the OH, I put my new french bulldog bedding on the bed!
By Saturday morning I was all sorted, ready to hit the ground running. I managed to get an amazing amount of work done on my new website and business plan. Woohoo, go me! Today has been a little more relaxing (well, it was until I just lost some research that was open in Chrome when it decided to crash) and I’ve just started getting ready for tomorrow – I feel like a child again on the last day of the summer holidays, the only difference is that I don’t have a new pencil case and backpack.
Tomorrow is going to be a new start. I don’t mean the kind of new start where you move to a different place or get a new job or decide to become vegan. I just mean a mini reset. I’ve already made my healthy lunch and packed my supplements into their mini tupperwear boxes. I’ve packed my bag so I don’t forget anything and planned my gym workout on my phone. (which also means the return of my Friday Fitness posts this week! Double woohoo!)
Today has been lovely. The last two weeks have been amazing. And, as much as work tomorrow isn’t top of the list of things I want to do, it’s going to be great getting back into my normal routine. I have lots of exciting things planned for this week both on and off the blog. To top things off, I have awesome plans with awesome friends at the weekend so lots to look forward to!
